A man, a woman (or two) and ... a snake

Meikkhala stopped struggling and closed her eyes, caught in a wave of desire – What’s happening? What’s the matter with him? How come he is so forceful at such a time of day and in such a place? – caught in confusion as if she were floating in some kind of dream. She felt her back coming into contact with the dew-sprinkled leaves. The crackling of the dead leaves mingled with the chirping of small birds which seemed to answer from afar, and the perfume of the saiyut was heady.
